Why do people hit your car and bog off without telling you or leaving a note !!!!

While my car was parked up last night some fecking shit has hit my rear, its only my bumper ,but now looking a couple of hundred quid to get it sorted. Feel really pissed off, I would never dream off doing it to someone elses car.

Sorry to moan, but really needed to get it off my chest !!!! aarrgghh

O well , that will be me hitting the Vodka tonight !!!!

This prob wont help much but think about it, it could be worse.....you could have written it off whilst driving and injured yourself in the process!!

Sorry to hear though, I had somthing similar but mine was self inflicted....scraped front bumper all along the kurb......very annoying

Think 90% of drivers over the age of 20 have had this happen to them at some point. I'm no exception, some twat scraped all the way down my Astra a couple of yrs back, covering front and back door, and the front wing - wasn't cheap. So yeah - it could've been worse for you mate! Nonetheless, hard lines, if only you could get your hands on the little c***s.....

You think thats over the top...if there are any slightly old looking cars next to Mike's he gets his phone out and takes a picture of the car followed by a picture of his car - so he can check for scratches etc when he gets back..! Ok he tends to do this less these days but when he first had the car jesus...

BTW V - sorry to hear this, what tw*ts

Parked my Daily Driver in the Car Park at Bluewater and on returning found a big red scratch on the driver’s door, no note saying sorry but a scruffy red escort estate still parked next to me with my metallic green paint on its door edge. :swear:

So being a slightly larger chap than most felt it about right that I should return the favour as they were parked so feckin close you could of balanced a fag packet between the two cars, needing to open my door enough for me to get in I needed to rest my hip against there door skin to get the room I needed.

Job done...

Revenge is silly, but oh how sweet...

Reminds me of my sister's neighbour. There were scuffs down the side of her car, she felt the same as you do. The thing is, there were more and more as the weeks passed... so she had a friendly word with him. To which he replied:

"That's what bumpers are for"

:complain::twak:

I hope you sort it without too much pain V

god so annoying... I had someone scrap the front bumper on mine in a gym car park over Christmas... when I parked the car I had no one either side.. parked it far away from civilisation to make extra sure someone would go near... didn't take any pictures (yes, it's me, I'm insane)... and came back to 'beep beep beep' (my cars way of telling me it's been crying).. oh, yeah whats happened here...? and a massive scrape along the front bumper...

to be fair this is the second 'concern-able' scrap I have.. I waiting for the summer, then in the body shop she goes... she's probs need a re-spray by then the way thing are going....

sorry to here about yours I know how it feels...

Not good, share your anger.

Had a brand new ALfa 156 2.5 with loads of mods, and the very first time I left it parked on a public road, some arze reversed into it and fecked off with no note. Whole thing was caught on camera by the security camera of the building it was outside, but I could not see the reg no. if only !

I was gutted, over £1k's worth of damage, and the car never quite felt right after :(

Someone drove into my ST205 whilst it was parked up, rear quarter required extensive work, door needed lots of work, wing mirror needed work, wing need replacing and basically had the whole car resprayed.

Bugger drove off :thumbdown

Thankfully I managed to get it all done for about £450...

Goes with the territory if you are using a supra in public carparks - sad but true.

My run-arounds always have a market value of £50-200.

It's the most liberating thing one can imagine.

People let you pull out in front of them, they suddenly chicken out when they're forcing themselves in front, they actively *avoid* parking too close, he he....

Liberating I tell ya. Third party insurance obviously, I'd never make a claim anyway. Going back to a public carpark to get the car: no sweat. No mobile pics either (as I occassionally do with the supe)
