Lol- I'm still waiting for them to get it right before buying one- the Griff has no roll-over protection nor side impact protection of any kind (imagine the results of the Cheifgroover T-bone on that Griff!), and the Tamora has the Speed 6, which is made of chocolate.

A guy died just up the road after loosing control of his tvr. From what I could tell he would've walked away if it was a Supra.

More than 100 people and their cars joined forces to celebrate the life of a car enthusiast who died after he smashed into metal barriers at a Telford roundabout.

Thifty-four-year-old Jason Bennet, known as Jay and who came from Birmingham, died on Thursday night when his TVR Cerbera car collided with barriers around the interchance off junction six of the M54.

Jay who regularly travelled to Telford to see his girlfriend, was a sales manager for a communications company. But in his spare time Jay was part owner of KroozMidz.com, a group of car entusiasts with more than 4000 members.

And about 150 friends and fellow car lovers descended at Telford Services, near Shifnal last night to remember their "genuine" friend.

I'm informed he was "racing" someone.

To be fair, if you are going to stack a TVR, then you'd want to be in a Cerbera or T350C as they have built in roll protection and side impact- the T350 has a full on cage, as does the Sagaris, pretty certain the Cerb has a cage, but don't quote me on it.
