Pixelfill Posted December 8, 2005 Share Posted December 8, 2005 Anyone know where I can get my hands on one? This id the one which is in the gear shift, not in the speedo display. The one I took out which has blown is a capless 12v 1.7W bulb, I tried Toyota in Preston they gave me a 14v 3.4W bulb out of a Rover! Halfrauds don't do them, the closest they have is a 12v 2.2W, and the closest RS and Farnell do is a 12v 3W (if I remember correctly). The local motor factors (Dodgsons for those of you in Preston) brushed me off saying they probably only had the 14V 3.4W ones I did find some on t' internet, nicely priced (75p), but the delivery was stupid. (£7.95 for 24hrs, or 5.95 for 2-3 days) Can anyone tell me whether the halfords 2.2W will be okay without melting the little green cap. or where I can get a properly rated one from?
