Induction Kit Test Results

I was thinking of making one, not just some heat shielding around a filter in the engine bay but a sealed box to contain a decent aftermarket filter and piping from the massive opening in my top secret front... Not sure if something like this http://www.autoanything.com/products/product_gnn.aspx?p_id=2724&se=s&b_cold_air_intake_kit could be adapted as a starting point...?

I bought my Supra just over a year ago and it came with an HKS mushroom. I then stumbled across that comparative article which prompted me to switch to the Apexi. That was the first change I ever made to the car.

But there is good news for any of you who want to swap from the HKS to the Apexi (or to stock filter). I managed to sell my used mushroom on Ebay for over £70!! I was clear that it had been used and had good photos which included some discolouration. It practically paid for the Apexi!!
