IMHO I would sell your Civic R for the best price you can get and get an import or from a member here and then buy a run around for your lass through the trader. I know you have not got the piece of mind of warranty but Envy are near you and this club's resources.

PLus I reckon you will still have change from selling your Type-R.

Just my 2p's worth :)

Agreed.

It's always the easier option to p/x with a garage. Vine may be offering what seems like a good deal but they can afford to do that because of the price they're selling the car at.

I'd def sell your civic private and buy a Sup private or from a respected member on here. You'll have a decent chunk of change I reckon.

Facelift was 96 or 97 (cant remember which) and for 12k you should be able to get a 6 speed facelift no problem. That's why I said ealier that 12k was too much for '94.

Man my aerotop TT is down to £10.5k with the car a little de-tuned from where it is so £12k is a bit hefty. If the aftersales service and quality of car is good at VINE PLACE it may be able to justify the tag, JIC if you all remember charged above the odds but all their cars were very good quality so you knew what you were getting. Don't underestimate the power of the trade in either. My car has been for sale since july (OK I haven't really been pushing the sale) but at this time of year trying to sell any car is hard work.
