Homer
15/50 motorsport stuff should work, the 0w/40 stuff is way to thin. Made that mistake before!
normore1
Mobil 1 5W-30, 10W-30 or 15W-50 are all OK for the Supra. Actually the lighter grades are better in the winter due to lower initial viscosity helping the oil to reach critical parts on startup. The 15W-50 is a little heavy for winter use and probably unnecesary for UK even in summer. At normal engine operating temperature a 5W-30 (or even 0W-30) weight oil will behave like a single grade 30 weight oil. Lighter weights are also better for the tight clearances of the turbo bearings. Mobil 1 synthetic is an excellent synthetic in any grade. derek
oilman
10w-50 or 15w-50 is fine in a modded supra. Cheers Simon

toyotasuprauk
When I first got my Supra I put 0/40 mobil one it in. Only thing was it needed topping up more than say 15-50. Didnt do any damage to the car.
oilman
It won't damage it but highly tuned cars running higher oil temps need thicker oils like 10w-50 and 15w-50 for better protection. Cheers Simon
Gamer
I have just had the oil replaced in mine to Valvolene Synpower 5w -50 Will that be ok on a moderately tuned car running a big single ?
