Ian C
Oho, so it's if you disconnect it while the ignition is on? I thought it was if you put the ignition on with it disconnected, but I can safely say that everything works fine still if you do that -Ian PS my diagnostic connector isn't anywhere near that shown in the picture...? You car must be backward Ian Gaz. I had the dash off while putting the EGT gauge in and I started the car with the top and left hand side dash panels off, everything disconnected. Car started and ran fine, now it's back together I have no flashing airbag light... I've done this several times now, and never have had this problem. COuld it be a facelift thang? -Ian

Guest Martin F
Have you read the article properly ? Particularly this bit ......... With the ignition key turned to the ON position alternate the two wires to the negative terminal of the battery. They need to be done in a consistent rhythm, about one second apart. TC,AB,TC,AB,TC,AB... This needs to be done several times. If you can't get it to work, try adjusting the speed.
ChrisB
yeah ill have to give it another go though and try a bit more patients this time, just wondered with the light going out straight away and then coming back on, not to worry ill give it another go
Dragonball
Chris - wish I had a quid for every time this had happened! Secret is to get someone to sit there while you alternate every second and shout when goes off permanent! It's easier with two! (Oo-er missus!)
