Supragal
Has anyone else been finding that every single item selling is being bought by some scammer who wants it shipped to Nigeria? Not just once, but even when the items relisted the same **** buys it AGAIN and round and round it goes. They get banned but so what? It's wasted another week of listing. Any ideas on what to do??? Voo51
yes!!! they are very anoying. When you list your item as buy it now, on the page where it asks what kind of payment you accept, tick the must pay straight away box( providing you accept paypal). This is the only way i have found to work. Even if i put ' I DO NOT SHIP TO NIGERIA' they still bid for ' buy it now'!. But since i have been listing my items that way i have had no porblems. Hope that helps.
toyotasuprauk
These fraudsters are very annoying! Its partly ebays fault for making it so easy to get an account. IMO getting an ebay account should be like opening a bank account. That would get rid of at least 98% of the time wasters. Its so stupid when they ban them, they just open another account its too easy.
SuperSupra
Been there, done that, got very pissed off (three times) and sent very abusive e-mails to the "buyer" telling them where to stick there "shipping to Nigeria" request

Jake
A couple of things that might help a little: Only allow bids from UK based bidders (I believe there's an option for this when you make the listing) Only allow bids from folks with >=5 feedback, cancel any bids from folks with less than 5 feedback rating
Jive
Sold and listed almost 270 items and never had one buyer from Nigeria. Are you selling to the whole world? Like Jake said, maybe restrict down to post or sell only to UK and that would cut down your problems. Where would you expect the item you are selling to be bought buy, location wise? Barry
You can block users from bidding on your auctions. Just by entering their username.
neo1
I had this untill i used the UK filter and it works well.... At least until the buggers get round it. I had to pay the fees on about 5 of my auctions that these S**ts won..... ebay wouldnt back down at all. In the long run, all ebay will do is lose customers. Jive
You could try listing the stuff on http://www.ebid.co.uk - no listing fees on there either if you get the auction right
