400BHP
I'll draw you a schematic mate, just gimme a little time. I'm not too good with paint!
Dragonball
Needs to be an 'idiots guide' - as in attach red and green to blue etc Cheers Paul:thumbs:
Thorin
Yup I'll be wanting to know this too. Will soon be replacing my aging J-Spec pump with a more capable one.

400BHP
Right, I just need to determine which wire is the control voltage from the engine ECU, I think its the violet/white one, this is the voltage that will switch the relay. I need to test this with my avo meter but my car is in bits and its pissing down. When its back together I will let you know my findings, unless of course someone else wants to pop their car over for me to check.... dude
When the 12v mod is done it is done right up by the fuel pump relay/ecu , therfore wont the safety cut out still be in operation as surely it cuts the power supply TO the relay/ecu? 400BHP
Well, when my car engine is back together I will do some testing. If anyone else wants to try and test it, this is how to do it... Gain access to the fuel pump ecu wiring and an AVO or voltmeter, connect the voltmeter negative to a ground on the car, and place the positive probe on either the violet/white wire, this should be dead with the ignition on and live with it cranking and running. This is what you are looking for, NOT an ignition switched live. anyone with a basic electrical understanding can carry out this testing but be careful, also the wiring loom will need to be plugged into the ECU whilst testing (dont worry you wont damage it unless you short it), it may be preferable to use a small length of wire to insert in the back of the plug to get a reading whilst it is plugged in... I am positive its either the green or violet/white one, the other 3 wires are an earth, a positive 12v feed from the igniton and the pump supply.
