Kip
They look great and sound like a real improvement. Pray tell, how do I fit a bayonet fitment into my jspec? Or is that what you are stating Pete?

Homer
Could someone explain why its worth swapping glass bulbs for LED ones? Are they brighter or something?
Digsy
They are virtually everlasting because they run cold. Also, for brake lights they light up about 0.2 of a second faster than fillament bulbs so at high speeds you get a teensy bit more warning (could make all the difference). V
Pete, Can you post some reasoning rather than just doubts please - for everyones benefit? I assume you're implying face lifts are bayonet? What about UKs and pre-face lifts (if you know) to help anyone interested? Many Thanks SV
V
Ben, 20 questions if you dont mind Did you change just the indicators, or the brake lights as well. Can you confirm it was bayonet? And where did get the indicator ones from? Are they designed like these ones? Many thanks SV
Pete
Pete, Can you post some reasoning rather than just doubts please - for everyones benefit? Facelift rear bulbs are a funny shape and connection. They're kind of squashed cylinders rather than blubs. Pic here of the two. The facelift one is flatter as you rotate it from this angle. http://www.pbarfield.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/bulbs%20different.JPG
V
Cheers Pete I'll go have a gander at mine tonight hopefully. Are all 3 bulbs in the picture out of a face lift? If so what is what (Grey, Black & Brown fitment) Thanks SV
Soonto_HAS_soop
I changed just my indicator lights for the moment, but they are 7044's and are available from ebay with no problems, only issue is that they are a little tight when you try and fit them into the lights, I had to shave a little of the lights to fit them in.
