is it crank sensor or ignitor

ive been over my car now.the battery is good and turning over strongly. its now trying to start all the coil pack are working but theres only a spark on the plugs every 1 to 2 seconds. its showing fault code 12. any ideas ive been told it could be the ignitor pack or crank sensor. where is the crank sensor and is it hard to change.:help:

I've seen the waveform but I can't recall where I saw it. Found this though:

 

1) Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect all sensor connectors.

Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between sensor terminals. See G1,

G2, NE SENSOR RESISTANCE table. If any resistance reading is not as

specified, replace suspect sensor. If all resistance readings are as

specified, go to next step.

 

G1, G2, NE SENSOR RESISTANCE TABLE

Application ........................................Ohms

CMP Sensor

Cold Sensor ......................................... 835-1400

Hot Sensor ......................................... 1060-1645

CKP Sensor

Cold Sensor ......................................... 835-1400

Hot Sensor ......................................... 1060-1645

(1) - Cold temperature is 14-122F (-10-50C). Hot temperature is

122-212F (50-100C).
