Branners
While my Citroen was in having the brakes replaced I borrowed an 03 plate Celica which was sitting in the car pool at work, have to admit I wasnt that impressed with the power. The 6sp gearbox was nice but the clutch didnt like full throttle gear changes at all but it just didnt seem that quick. It was the VVTI version and not the 190bhp one. Shame really as I always thought it might be a replacement for a supra when I run out of money. JB
Bobbeh
Its only 140bhp John, it goes around corners well but its just going to feel gutless compared to the Supra.. remember ours I brought to the Supra meet in Stevenage back in 2001?
Branners
Gotta remember I drive a 2.0 Citroen xantia estate day to day and the Supra rarely (even more rarely now the starter motor is screwed) so it was just a shame that my wifes 2.2l vectra feels quicker, but if its only 140bhp that would explain it. The gearbox really was nice though, clutchless gearchanges were easy on it. Dont remember that Bobbeh, 2001 seems like a lifetime ago, a lifetime before I had kids

Bob
My little baby before I moved on to bigger, better things: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/w.gregory2/main%20view.jpg Not particularly fast, but it is an 'economical' 1.8L engine, so what d'ya expect?
