Oversize valves

Anyone have some experience / opinions on this.

I know velocity would be reduced and everyone gets excited with the technical terms with theories without data. But different opinions found on supraforums. Some head porting firms swear by bigger valves.

I'm not looking to port my vvti head. Minor polish work only. Though some say the bowl before the valve enables larger valve gains.

I've decided what valve train gear I'm buying and just making sure I get valve size right.

I know the Summit racing dude with 2kwhp in the red supra & 3 fuel rails, uses oem sized valves.

I'm not looking for insane power.

Insane to me is anything over 1100whp.

My gut feeling and findings online is that it's probably not worth having larger values for anything below that.
