SUPRA4EVA
Do OEM panels come pre coated or are they bare metal? Never bought new panels but they must come pre coated so you can at least store them? And do they basically need sanded down to bare metal before being primed/pained?

SUPRA4EVA
So I got some new fenders and they did in fact come pained. They are black and I want to apply a gray 2K primer before applying the base coat. Is the primer Toyota uses good enough? A paint shop mentioned to me, if they did the work, they'd strip it and re prime it...

It's shipping primer, you want to sand it off before applying your own primer etc.

Hmm, that's gonna be fun lol I may have to bust out the paint stripper!
