Two issues with the supra

Hi guys, took the car for a drive yesterday and got caught in the rain, since then i have had two issues.

 

1. Everytime i press the brake pedal all the lights inside and out including fogs come on and off when i release the brake.

 

2. The little lever and spring under my auto gearstick is Has now got a mind of its own once i put the headlights on it starts flicking back and forth? Any ideas?

Reads to me like you have an earthing issue. I'd have a look at the main earth lead to see that it isn't corroded, terminal frayed and isn't hot. That would assume that the rain is just coincidental to your problem.

Re the fogs is that front or rear of both? when you say all the lights you mean interior lights? Agree with Rider but I'm terrible with electrics knowledge.
