a98pmalcolm
Hi Guys I have just fitted a new cambelt and water pump but I am also upgrading to a Fluidamper crank pulley. The OEM crank uses 2 bolts to hold the tool to keep it still but a Fluidamper has three.. How will I hold the pulley tight? Any advice anyone? Thanks OEM Pulley (with 2 holes to bolt the pulley holder): Fluidamper (with 3 holes to bolt a pully holer):
Scooter
I think as you are manual you can pop it in gear (a high one from memory i think is best?) and have the handbrake on (and an assistant to hold the brake perhaps)
Rob W
Yep unfortunately you can't use the Toyota crank pulley tool with the fluidampr, I had to make my own locking tool up.

I'm sure Littlenum did this with mine mate we didn't need a tool.
