adi2009 Posted May 8, 2017 Share Posted May 8, 2017 Hello! My car has been recently experiencing vibration coming from the rear end under hard acceleration. I can notice it right from 2nd gear onwards. The vibration is only noticed under power and disappears when I let off the gas. Any idea what the problem could be? Note: My diff is an OS Giken 1.5 way LSD. I have had this diff for quite some time now and the issue has only recently been noticeable. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chris Wilson Posted May 11, 2017 Share Posted May 11, 2017 Check rear drive shaft cap head bolts to diff output shafts are torqued up. Check propshaft ---- Torque of bolts to gearbox output shaftt and axle flange, wear in U/J's, damaged flexible coupling at axle end, centre support bearing and housing.
