Trig
While i was in Harvester having some lunch the waitress came over and asked if anyone drove a black toyota Someone had reversed into my car Luckily for me the old lady came back into the restaurant and admitted it. Damage not too bad (see pic) but its nice to know the are some decent, honest people in this world. Im not gonna go through the insurance and will try to get it done as cheap as poss to try and help her out http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/1839/pdr03004vo.jpg

Trig
On the bright side i can get the front resprayed as it suffered lots of stonechips from the trackday at Bovingdon

Scrote
Easily sorted. A possible reshape & a respray - £300 tops for a reasonable job. Had worse on my other car & it came back perfect.
Ewen
Makes a refreshing change from the legendary note on the windscreen..... 'hello twat, Ive just hit your car and there were witnesses so Im writing this note - they think Im leaving my name and address but Im not so f**k off'
qaisar
thats good to hear, i didnt have the same luck when i popped into B&Q the other day, came out and found a great big scratch down the back of my car, (like someone had scrapped some wood against it) no note or anything tried to see if the store CCTV caught it but camera was facing the wrong way

blert596
I reversed mine into someone the other week and left the legendary name, address and phone no on their windscreen. They came and seemed really grateful that I'd bothered. Anyway, we decided on the no insurance way to get it sorted. They got 3 quotes ranging from £147 to £385 and sent me the quotes. To cut a long story short I told them to go with whatever they wanted as it was my fault for their inconvenience. (Couldnt open drivers door properly), and they just went for the lowest price one because "you were good enough to leave your details". Nice in this day an age. stevenb
It is nice when people admit fault. Not too badly damaged and if you were looking for a respray anyway then at least your not heartbroken that damage has been inflicted. Did she buy you a pint too?
