BoGlE
Been trying to get my Works wheels refurbed but it's turning out a nightmare. Im only have 2 wheels done so ideally an exact colour match needs to be found I think. My wheels are the original MGM colour but I've no idea what colour or code that actually is in the real world. My local powder coater won't match them at all and speedwells from the forum says he can't match them without knowing the code. Feeling abit stuck really. Don't want to have all 4 wheels done and I'd like to keep the colour original. Has anybody else gone through this problem? Dnk
Find a paintshop with a colour scanner
ripped_fear
Find a paintshop with a colour scanner Exactly that. Most bodyshops these days should have the facilities to match a colour without knowing the code.
BoGlE
Will it match it even though it's a satin finish?
ripped_fear
Will it match it even though it's a satin finish? /QUOTE] Shouldn't be an issue to my knowledge. The satin, Matt or gloss is just the finish it's still the same colour
BoGlE
Just been to a supplier and had them check the colour code This is what they gave me incase anybody else needs this thread. Looked a close enough match
Fitz
Just as a sidenote, would it not be possible to get in contact with Works themselves to see what they say?
BoGlE
I've read on other forums that they don't give out their exact paint code and they don't take old wheels in for refurbishment either. Makes sense really, they'll just want you to buy another wheel.
