ellis
Got the new UK TT, had it for a few days now, and whilst driving there seems to be quite a constant drone which seems to be more from the back than the front - might not be though, hard to tell. It could just be tyre/road noise and I might just be being paranoid but thought I'd throw it on here and see if you guys had any ideas or could calm my nerves!! Robert
id had a similar noise but i also had a squeak and it turned out to be a broken spring holding the handbrake shoe.
ellis
I've heard that the diffs can get noisy with age and was wondering if anybody could back this up. Mind you, with 64K on the clock I'd hope it wasn't the diff, bit too early for that.
Chris Wilson
I have a car that still comes in with over 300K miles on it, and the diff is silent. Probably tyre noise, they are not very godd, NVH wise, due to the small amount of compliance in the back end wishbone bushes (but because of that they handle well...).
