Doughie Posted February 15, 2002 Share Posted February 15, 2002 I *might* have a knackered BOV on my car, and i'm going to test it this weekend in the time-honoured way. If it is kaputt, shall i stick an OE Toyota one on ? how much are they ? Or an aftermarket one ? I'm not really a huge fan of that aftermarket BOV noise, but if someone can convince me it's better to get an HKS (or whatever) one than a stock one then .....fine. thoughts and advice please. Nic Posted February 15, 2002 Share Posted February 15, 2002 Without your cats and the NUR-spec exhaust then I guess you are running higher than stock boost which may be the cause of stock BOV packing in, if you get a standard replacement then it too may not be able to cope with the pressure.
