Mr Bizzle
Hello All, I have the manual conversion out of my car as i'm swapping it out for a different engine and transmission setup. This box has only done a couple of drift days, shifts perfectly. Is perfect in every way. The only thing this conversion DOES NOT come with is the clutch pedal and the clutch master cylinder. It includes EVERYTHING else you could possibly need. 100% complete drop in. Items: - MkIII Supra Steel Plate W58 with 2JZ bell housing - Gearbox Bolts - Extended Shifter - XTD Light Weight Flywheel - High Tensile Flywheel Bolts (done less than 500 miles) - Stage 3 Competition Clutch Kit, with 6 puck sprung paddle. LIKE NEW - NO WARE - Gearbox Mount with new cap head bolts to mount to chassis - Front Half of the prop - shaft - Slave Cylinder with hose section - M/T ECU - Manual Clocks - m/t gearbox loom section - Brand new Redline High Impact Gear Oil (Box is sealed - £80 worth. Done less than 500 miles) I'm asking £1000 - which I think is a fair price for a drop in kit? Collected from Woodstock, Oxfordshire or if you REALLY need me too I can stick it on a pallet. But it's a ball ache :-)
Mr Bizzle
Chaps, Is this priced too high? CB
ripped_fear
Even though they are sort after and prices on the up, IMO slightly to high yeah, especially as it says its a MK3 not a MK4 w58.
listy
If it was a mkiv box it would be priced about right imo but as Jake says, as it's a mkiii box a little high I think.
supraclaou
There is nothing wrong with a mk3 Supra NA W58 gearbox. If the gears engage properly than everything is ok! The steel plate W58 is the good, strong one. This gearbox can hold 450-500hp (bpu mode) all day long! Been there done that... no dragstrip 1/4 mile racing though ;-) And is priced ok! Maybe more than ok...
Donnz
Definitely a little too high as the boxes fetch 350-400ish on the jumble sale. I'll pm you as I'm interested in it mate
martincoupe
the box with bellhousing and no prop is £400 max clutch £200 prop £50-100 so on a good day £700 would be sensible
Mr Bizzle
That's chaps. i will take an offer on this? Drop me a line. CB
listy
The boxes used to fetch £350 - £400. With them getting harder to get hold of they tend to go nearer the £600 mark. Don't let it go too cheap.
Mr Bizzle
I won't :-) I thought £1k was a fair price. I'd happily let it go for £900. I just need to get it sold so I can buy all the other transmission related parts i need for the 1UZ!
Mr Bizzle
I can't tempt anybody to make me an offer here?
DMY23
If you decide to split, I could be interested in the flywheel, depending on price.
