Supra ST Myster Posted April 25, 2015 Share Posted April 25, 2015 Hi, I have an audi a4 2002 b6 1.9tdi, and recently every time the car is started regardless of cold or warm its catches fine but its revs really low for only a few seconds but for those few seconds I cannot drive or even when i put the accelerator down it makes no difference, then bam idles back to just under 1k.. and its fine for rest of journey. Benjy Posted April 25, 2015 Share Posted April 25, 2015 It's quite a common fix for a lot of different faults to be honest. Check the tandem fuel pump on the end of the head (opposite end to cam pulley...) for leaks. Sometimes they weep, allow a little air in and cause starting issues.
