bignum
No the bolts should come out using a decent ratchet with a bar for leverage, remember to grab the nut before it falls off the end of the bolt when undoing, it took me about half an hour to find mine once:d

Joff
Access is tight, the range of movement ends up being a quarter turn of the breaker bar I found, but can be done in situ

Virus
If the bolts still won't come out, try heating them up. It'll work like a charm, promise. Pretty much all the bolts below my car have seized in. Took me 5 hours to replace 1 wheelstud :/. Then i got myself one of these Came off like a charm. Even replacing break pads or anything that's under neath the car (don't even want to imagen the exaust), is dead hard for me :/. BURN ALL THE BOLTS

2soops
The nut on the back of the bolt should have a tab so it doesn't rotate and you should be able to just undo from the 2 bolts you can see from the wheel arch side. May not be much help though if yours are seized
