A manual one will work but Electronic is a different league as the gain settings allow adjustment and of course Standalone is again far superior again.. a 1 bar restrictor is normal and use the controller to take the boost up to around 1.2bar Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

j_jza80 Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 As above, an electronic boost controller is far superior to a manual one. - Selectable boost settings - ideal to have a lower setting during very cold weather - adjustable gain - increases response - over boost warning / cut - boost display without needing a separate gauge.
