Mgrene
Hello Folks. While I am stripping down my car, I am trying to locate all the wiring as well. I followed the wiring from my Greddy boost controller and to my big surprise, some of the wiring is not conected to anything!? The wires in quesiton is the green & white. Is this normal? I am running an AEM ECU. Maybe the boost controller is not necessary at all?
Mk4Gaz
Those wires would connect to the boost solenoid I would think. Maybe the po removed it and let the aem control the boost?

I have absolutely no experince when it comes to this and what you suggest might be the case. Is it possible to control the boost directly from the AEM? If yes, then how come the Greddy is mounted. Maybe somebody didn't wnat to bother removing it. The red wire from the Greddycontroller goes directly to the AEM.
Mk4Gaz
Hmm, well I would say the red and black wires were power and earth, and the white and green go to a boost solenoid. Pretty sure the aem can control boost, most stand alone ecus can Maybe it was left in place as a boost gauge, to monitor boost levels in the event of spikes etc?
