Class One
If members here are thinking of going to this RWYB event in the southwest make sure your car is 100% completely road legal.
dangerous brain
Usually speaking at things like this the police take on a more advisory role unless the vehicle is obviously unworthy of being on the road. In a public relations type of role they can't afford to be the fascists they can get away with on a bad day on the M25. You'll almost definitely find the guys there will be there on a voluntary basis. Bit of a pain it being on the saturday though. I'll see what I can manage. dangerous brain
I'm gonna go unless its raining. See if posting a decent 1/4 mile and verified top speed will help with selling the car.

Homer
If members here are thinking of going to this RWYB event in the southwest make sure your car is 100% completely road legal. I was planning on going to this but am not sure now Do you think they will overlook little things like no front plate, 'just about' legal front tyres, 'no chance of passing emmisons test' sort of thing? Toms Supra
They may give you a verbal warning if its that bad, but this day is for charity and I wouldnt think for a second any fines or points will be dished out!

Branners
I would have thought they are obliged to keep any car that isnt road legal off the roads. They will probably over look minor things or have a word about them, something like illegal tyres makes the car dangerous on the road and I would almost expect them to impound the car to stop it being a potential hazard to other road users...thats my view anyway. If Class One is saying be 100% legal then I would certainly listen... JB
