Stevo
Anybody know whether these calipers would fit a Supra without any mounting mods? http://www.apracing.com/product_details/road_car_upgrades/road_brake_calipers/6_piston_calipers/cp5570_family-suits_ø330mm_disc-17mm_thick_pad.aspx Cheers
TheTurtleshead
Those calipers are radial mount. You need supra specific caliper mounts. AP sell them for a supra. I have the same calipers with 362mm discs. The mounts look like this: Edited January 13, 2014 by TheTurtleshead (see edit history)
Andrew K
The mounts on my AP calipers are a bit different to yours, they are from AP and were of a supra I was breaking for parts for my project. https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/2014/01/451.jpg[/img]"] https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/2014/01/452.jpg[/img]"]

Chris Wilson
Never seen AP brackets like those fabricated ones, only machined from alloy billet. Beware proper race calipers with no dust / water ingress seals, and anodized alloy pistons, they will demand very regular attention. Proper race calipers in mag alloy will disintegrate before your eyes when they see salt. (Or dog pee......).

One dust/water/generic crap scraper, and one pressure seal. Interestingly, the set I purchased were a good 5-6 years old I think. Potentially an older style of mount? I am refurbishing them prior to fitting ofc with new seals. However, all the pistons and bores are in great condition, and only one scraper seal was showing signs of failure. Chris Wilson
Yes, the CP-5555 series was a road car caliper, made in a durable alloy, with dust seals. Good caliper! It was used in a vast array of their kits, and may even be still in production. Bolted pad retention with through bolts and spacers to add some stiffness to the open back. Stevo
The link I posted was to cp-5570 calipers though. Basically, I've seen some calipers off an aston martin that come with 330mm discs and I wondered if they could be made to fit a supra. 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rears.
