TheTurtleshead
Change your rocker cover gaskets? Can't tell from the pic... But if there is oil on the plug electrodes.. Valve stem seals.
marc_p
It can get dirty round the plugs so nothing unusual to drag some grit particles out with the plugs, in regard to oil on them, as James mentioned, it's most likely cam cover gaskets weeping oil, luckily a fairly inexpensive and straight forward job. On another note, the plugs do look a little coked up, does the car run a little rich?

Dnk
Do you have a bonnet vent of any description? Not if the car is the same as in his garage in his profile
scott87
Was it the back spark plugs that were wet? If so check the water pipe at the back of the engine. If there is water on the plugs and your loosing coolant thats a different problem all together.
MySupra
On top of the plugs, the radiator has been off for a few months, took all that off, just started to actually strip the block
Dnk
More than likely the hoses at the back of the head that feed the heater matrix then. If your going as far as stripping the motor down it would a good call to replace all the coolant hoses with either o/e or silicon
