fastcar
I don't think so. Been a while since I seen stock boost but I'm sure it is 0.5bar for first and then 0.7 for when both are on full chat

Benjy
I assume you've got an aftermarket boost gauge? Because my stock boost gauge bascially says thay the turbo is on or off!! Lol

Scott
0.5bar till the transition Slight dip during the transition 0.7-0.8bar dependant on gear/load/etc. All perfectly normal.
Guest Budz86
Sounds normal to me. Stock boost settings should allow about 0.78 bar max, but hitting that will be dependant on the other factors Scott just mention and weather temp will be a big factor...cold days are your friend! jza800
thanks. i had always had a elektronic boost controller. but it was defekt as i lost boost under load. i had 0.5 bar but under transsion to the 2nd turbo it got Down to 0.3 bar and then raised to 0.7 bar when the boostcontroller was off, when on the same under transsion to the 2nd , and then raised to what i set it at.. Guest Budz86
Sounds like the exhaust gas control valve doesn't work properly and isn't allowing the 2nd turbo to pre-spool. Have a look in the tech sextion on here for a guide on how the sequential system should work. Does it work ok now that the boost controller is fitted? Which one do you have? I wouldn't have thought fitting one would fix the problem though, unless you've set it up for the wastegate to stay closed for a long time, which won't be good for your turbo's. Scott
no only the first cat.. the second is off.. Very dangerous mate. I wouldn't be upping any boost till you have the first cat removed. You may find that's part of your hassles with your fuelling etc.

Always learn to walk before you start to run EGTs on your car will be through the roof if you go above 1.0bar, even 1.0bar is pushing it.
