dr_jekyll Posted August 6, 2013 Share Posted August 6, 2013 (edited) hi guys , ive basically got a real nice condition e46 323 with a a cooked motor and an e36 328 coup that's rotten with a super tight motor. what I need to know is can I fit the the m52b20 engine in the e46 without the need for lots of wireing changes. so will the dme 1.0 from the e36 plug into the e46 harness on the car side and can I use the e36 ignition barrel in the e46 for the sake of the ews? alternatively can the dme 2.0 be reflashed with the b28 file and retain my e46 key and barrel.
