Kakimoto exhaust opinions...

I've just mailed Paul to quote me for a 2.5" twin box..... How would you describe the sound as compared to the stock system? Don't suppose you have any sound clips or videos of yours....? I want something a little fruitier but the Kak is completely over the top.

There is one up for grabs that is a single box 2.5 iirc which I would be tempted with for £250, I like mine as over the year it has been on the car it has gotten a bit louder and sounds nice on wot but at times I wish it was just a tad louder at lower speeds.

There is a thread on here about exhaust sounds which has loads of audio files and the whifbitzs twin box is on there, Animal is the guy who posts the clip too and iirc it is on the first 5 pages of the thread.

Thanks Graham, very helpful. I'll be ordering my Whifbitz twin box as soon as Paul confirms the delivered price :)

Meanwhile, I've agreed a sale on my Kakimoto so it looks like happy (and quieter!) days are ahead for me

Good for you mate, hopefully you found the thread I was on about and have made a good choice, Over the excessive noise it is a good step in the right direction.
