Branners Posted March 31, 2013 Share Posted March 31, 2013 Facelift cars have a problem with the remote boot release. The only fix I have heard of is fitting one from a non facelift car. I hope new boot rubbers will sort it out as they need doing anyway I have new boot rubbers and new OEM gas strut to be replaced soon, I bet though Branners is on to something and I will end up having the same problems.... My reasoning is that it just doesn't pop up enough and stays on the catch, new rubbers would make it harder to close in effect forcing it up so fingers crossed!
