David P
Close the door/check-switch and press the button on the gear-knob and the Christmas lights should go out. Sounds like a bearing, but you'll have to try harder than that to explain your Gremlin. peter richards
i think a helicopter is quite descriptive, played with the door switch but no good kept on flashing intermitingly
David P
i think a helicopter is quite descriptive, played with the door switch but no good kept on flashing intermitingly Both doors, rear-hatch and bonnet/alarm will all trigger the light. Getting warmer, slow rotation = slow bearing = wheel bearing or drive-shaft bearing or high-gear in transmission? Clutching at straws though, you must try harder. Steve Paine
Sounds like the alternator to me! Had similar problems in October with mine after starting it with a boost pack, which apparently is no good for the alternator! Other than, that, get your helicopters licence and fly around blissfully ignorant until something major goes wrong!
