Sounds like a misfire bud. Those 2.0 DTi's suffer from injector seals. Check the oil level and consistancy. If it's above max and really thin, there's a good chance the diesel that's meant to be going into the injector is just going passed the traverse seal and into the oil.

Ok will have a look at that, is there an easy way of telling? thanks.. When I changed the oil with what was recommended to me, when the car gets warmed up I get the oil pressure light flickering and sometimes on only when I come to a stop at traffics lights so when it's idling. Car still pulls ok as had to drive home, no lumpy idle or smoke coming out of exhaust.
