T14PPA
Hi im a bit confused with injectors. Whats the difference with hi an low imped injectors? Whats better? What ones nees a resistor? And how do you do the resistor? Help would be helpful as ive been offered injectors but they need resistors.

Nic
These are the stock injector type/sizes. J-spec 2JZ-GTE 440cc side feed, high impedance injectors UK/US 2JZ-GTE 550cc side feed, low impedance injectors + resistor Why do you need to know? what turbo(s) do you have fitted? T14PPA
Im going to be running a gt45 single. Im looking for 800cc ish injectors. Thats why i want to know. David P
For over 500cc - 550cc high-impedance saturation-injectors are not good at idle and low revs, low-impedance peak and hold are better, that's why O.E. mostly use low-impedance for over 500cc. It's only 7 wires to tinker with to fit a resistor pack and do a proper job.
T14PPA
So the resistor injectors are better? Where do i buy the resistor boxes from?

Ive seen plenty of motors with very large high impedance injectors running rock solid stock level idle when controlled from a decent ECU. The PE (Power Enterprise) drop-ins are a prime example, available up to about 800cc, no resistor pack required and direct replacement for stock items in stock rail. If going for larger then the ID (Injector Dynamics) 1000cc and higher are very very good also but require a new rail.
