Brain fried, help...

I've got a transit connect TdDi. It's been making a strange noise under load in 1st to 3rd, being a mechanic and it being my own van, I put it down to bearings in the diff and thought "I'll wait til it goes pop and chuck my spare box in it."

Today, it's been driving without fault, i did a motorway journey, up a dirty great hill, turbo pulling lovely. I drove to a customers completely off boost up a country track, and switched it off. Did my job, jumped in and there was no signs of life from the turbo. There's no smoke, no MIL, 3 DTC's, 2 of which have been there for a while. The new one was P0235 - Turbocharger boost sensor circuit A malfunction.

I've done the following;

Known good boost sensor and checked wiring, known good MAP sensor and checked wiring, replaced split airbox - turbo intake pipe, checked vacuums, checked wastegate diaphragm (which is operated by boost pressure, not vacuum, being a diesel), checked intercooler and boost pipes for splits, checked turbo, spins freely, minimal play...

To be honest, I've had a sh!t week and this was the last thing i needed, so any help greatfully recieved!
