I would have asked these questions before buying a mkiv to be honest

 

If your over 25 try LWIB http://www.lwib.co.uk or you could try the club insurance broker Sky

there are several insurance companies used by members on here so try a search

Again, depending on age, competition car insurance is a good choose through experience. Thought there overall service was really great. there's a thread about them if you search on the forum.
