mawby
Mine leaks. A bit of research reveals that this cover doesn't have a gasket and that leaks are normally due to corrosion or damage when a muppet uses a jack on it incorrectly. Looking at the bottom shows the signs of said muppet damage. I also know you can use something like Loctite 5910 to create a gasket, but it's not something I've ever done before. Is it really as simple as undoing the bolts pictured, cleaning the cover, applying the sealent and reattaching the cover? Annoyingly the propshaft bearing also needs changing as that leaks slightly after a long drive, but for now I just need the cover leak fixing as that is leaking 24/7. Swampy442
Yup its that simple, clean, mdegrease, apply sealant and 'wet assemble' If you had a sheet of cork lying about you could just as easily use that.
