2JZ-GTE or RB25 into a 350Z?

Would it be possible? There was a gold one parked up at PC World yesterday and I have to say I was more than seduced by the interior. Seats, Dials, Steering wheel, et cetera. Kind of felt bad for liking it. I just wish (a) there weren't so many about, and (b) they used a turbocharged I6.

I know but as it's a Vee, it has to be either twin-turbo, or supercharger, plus I don't know how well that Renault V6 lump would stand up to modification. At least the RB25 and 2JZ are known for their reliability.

AFAIK its a Nissan engne through and through. Nissan were working on it before Renault bought them.

there are a few TT kits for the 350Z and a couple of supercharger setups too, give it a year or two to see how the 'charged cars survive in the long term and i think they could start to become quite interesting :D

can confirm from US 350Z forums that SC especially Vortech setups , HKS and Stillen seem to have no reliability issues. Same can be said for 350Z with APS TTs or Greddy (although having been the first TT kit on the Z it used to blow up regularly due to bad tuning mostly, as tuners were just getting acquainted with the VQ35DE limits), cars with kits on for over 2 years if not longer, tens of thousands of miles no issues :)
