TheTurtleshead
As above, trying to work out what this LSD is exactly Sorry for being such a post-whore lately, I just have so many questions! It looks similar to this one, which is for an aristo: http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/wheels-tyres-suspension-brakes-sale/36235-sale-trd-lsd-diff-suit-aristo-jzs147.html Edited February 19, 2012 by TheTurtleshead (see edit history)

TheTurtleshead
Anyone know what oil I should run in this? And where I can get it!
Chris Wilson
Any decent oil suitable for plate type diffs. I have some Motul Gear 300 in stock, it's a good quality race / road plate type diff oil oil at a sensible price..
Thorin
I didn't think TRD did a 2-way, thought they were all 1.5way?
tDR
I didn't think TRD did a 2-way, thought they were all 1.5way? Heyyy we've done this dance before! They are classed as 2-way, though aren't aggresive like Kaaz etc. so are actually quite civilised when parking etc. Cheers, Brian.
Chris Wilson
They have such steep ramp angles they are very soft, that's why they make nice LSD centre sections for road cars. Now Giken list an LSD centre section for both sizes of Supra CWP's they are a far better unit for something that is used on track. They are also very civilised on the road due to their unique clamping system, but they are a lot dearer.
