Aircon regas

My aircon degassed itself over a 9 month period not being run a couple of winters ago. I contacted this nice chap:

And he popped round in his mobile van, checked the system out and recharged it for £50+vat. Good service, knows his cars, ex Lotus engineer, and a friendly chap to boot. He services a 35 mile radius from Norwich.

 

Also, while taking off the carbon slam panel, the two 10mm bolts sheared off. I've been getting a lot of these lately, that's five 10mm bolts in the bay that have gone the same way suddenly. Anyway, he warned me they would shear, and I tested them myself and he was right. So we snapped them off, and while the aircon system was vacuuming out, he drilled the bolts out and retapped them free of charge! How's that for extra value

Wow, that is good service, he actually did some work for free and a good job, sadly there aren't enough of those type of people around, its also a shame he is in Norwich, my AC system emptied its self on a garage forecourt about 2 years ago and I haven't got around to getting it sorted yet, maybe next year, (along with everything else).
