mellonman
i have been having a converstion about open and closed loop stuff, The stock gte ecu stays in closed loop at part throttle up until 0.5 bar with stock turbos now i have fitted a single t67 turbo and have been trying to find out if that amount of boost at 14.7 afr is safe part/light throttle. its i was looking into scrwewing the o2 signal and cutting it completly at boost so i can get the ecu ready for mapping, i hear people runing no o2, switch through a relay, no not doing anything confused much lol
johnny g
It's lean for positive boost. Just hope your timing isn't too advanced. For that, I think you'd want to be in the 12's or high 11's for any positive boost really. I think you should just leave the car and save for a proper ECU (even if it's not a Syvecs). Hell, a MegaSquirt would be better than what you've got now mate.
mellonman
even that aside lets say stock car the ecu still would want that boost at that afr so the stock timing must be very retarded low down, but i guess that would be one small turbo.
