Noz Posted October 16, 2011 Share Posted October 16, 2011 Will a R154 gearbox fit the same if its from a LHD MKIII (US market)?? with the typical mods required. Can't remember off top of my head other things required but was wondering if the conversion would stil be the same. From an engineers view, I would have thought for costing reasons they would have kept it in the same place, regardless of LHD or RHD so the cost of production could be kept down as the assembly procedure would be the same, BUT this isn't a good enough reason to guess at!
