Scooter Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 I'd find out what Kerons price is for a swap should be a little cheaper than the usual NA to TT ones as there is no wiring or intercooler stuff to do?..............then you could split your engine bits, loom, turbo's, head etc are worth a few quid......or someone might make you a fairly good offer on it as it is. gavin.starr Posted October 10, 2011 Author Share Posted October 10, 2011 Im going to do the repair myself, so idealy i would want a complete engine, so i can just take mine out and swap everything over, just to keep things as simple as possible. I have asked keron for a price but he hasnt got back to me as of yet. I honestly cant afford a thing at the moment due to moving house, two mortgage payments up front, van rental and also the fact that the vast majority of my backup fund has been used for the house deposit. So at the moment i cant afford sod all, and granted as cheap as your block is i still cant afford that.
