havent used the supra for a few months now ,done some work on it new rear discs finally fitted my yellow billies on the back .anyway the rear left tyre went flat and i didnt notice, when i went to inflate it, it went up alright but next morning was flat again ,so took it off, down to the garage put 40lbs in still went flat next day.took it to my mate who has a tyre shop and he says its fooked ,there is very little wear on the tyre so im gutted got to have a new one .its round the seal where the air is coming out he says .

anyone know how i can save it or is it a bin job ?????

Was going to say the same as Craig, bead seal round the edge should make it hold air. If it's been flat with the weight of the car on I suppose it's possible the sidewall has been weakened so you'd need to think about whether you want to take that risk bud.

never known it to be the rubber although im no tyre fitter, last time i had that problem it was because the rims had corroded ( common bmw fault )

its not very old the wheel ,going down on tueday to have a look.hes agood mate so hes not trying to con me into a new tyre

This happened to me this week. Tyre was a goner. When you take the tyre off you can see all the rubber worn. I only noticed it was flat when I decided the car kept sliding sideways more than it should have done. :D

You have only have to run it flat for a few minutes (if that) and it will be destroyed.
