6000k HID kit on a micra k11

Been offered a h4 hid kit for my daily and was just wondering if fitting a 6k hid kit to a micra would be legal or not due to them not having projector style headlights?

if I can fit them and they don't blind people I will do it but hate people with hids where they clearly have to much glare and blind oncoming traffic!

would I be likely to get pulled over with them?

any advice would be appreciated.

lol the wiring will be fine they're tough lil buggers ;-)

would they be ok if they where dipped slightly?I've seen loads of threads about people with hids on all sorts of cars but just don't wanna be one of the idiots that couldn't care less about blinding people on the roads.

Totally illegal, blinding and MOT fail due to not being projector lenses. The light just goes in all directions with no restriction.

I think the new law is coming in effect to fail HID kits in non projector lenses? You would also need a headlight washer and levellers if you go HID.

That law has been in for quite some time as I understand it. You can only get away with it if the manufacturer supplied the HIDs with the model of car before the law came into play. I'm pretty sure the Supra falls into this category.
