FOSTA
The wastegate is sticking bud, it's the only explanation really. Either that or the boost gauge is playing up. It seems to move freely tho? When I took the spring out it was freely moving and when I put it back in a could push it down freely. I'm sure the gauge Is fine as when it hits 7,8,9psi the wideband goes lean as it was only base mapped to take 5psi and I can feel the extra power lol So it can only be the wastegate causing this problem if the boost gauge is fine? If so then I'm a happy man lol

If you aren't seeing the right boost it's because the regulator isn't regulating
FOSTA
Is this a good wastegate?
Chris Wilson
Looks like a Tial copy, I would buy a genuine Tial off Turbo Dynamics, not off Ebay, where there are loads of fakes for sale. For the price Tial aren't bad. To get anything really top quality you will be paying a LOT LOT more than for a Tial, but from my experience they work OK. Hellstrom
Dunno about the wastegate. but as a side note that wastegate is a V-Band type, so you would need to weld a V-flange to your manifold. also might just be me, but they dont have a heatshield. the diaphram will not last verry long in a WG witout proper shielding to the tophalf of the WG imo.
