WASTEGATE help!

The wastegate is sticking bud, it's the only explanation really. Either that or the boost gauge is playing up.

It seems to move freely tho? When I took the spring out it was freely moving and when I put it back in a could push it down freely.

I'm sure the gauge Is fine as when it hits 7,8,9psi the wideband goes lean as it was only base mapped to take 5psi and I can feel the extra power lol

So it can only be the wastegate causing this problem if the boost gauge is fine? If so then I'm a happy man lol

Yes, it's the wastegate that regulates the boost. If you aren't seeing the right boost it's because the regulator isn't regulating :)

Dunno about the wastegate. but as a side note that wastegate is a V-Band type, so you would need to weld a V-flange to your manifold. also might just be me, but they dont have a heatshield. the diaphram will not last verry long in a WG witout proper shielding to the tophalf of the WG imo.
