What Sanding Equipment to use?

I've been doing alot of custom work on my supra lately, and helping a mate out doing a customer triple pod and smoothing mine and his passenger side.

 

I've also another custom job which I can't wait to finish as it's taking months.

 

Due to doing more and more sanding, was wondering what sanding equipment people could recommend of have had experience of and I think it's the time to start purchasing decent equipment and up my game.

 

Is pneumatic sanders better than electric? Worried if I dont get a decent electric one it just won't have a decent enough motor to function on fibreglass.
